The past weeks I have been struggling a lot with the flu (I had been half sick for two weeks already, then became well again as I thought and then got sick again and lay in bed all day for one plus a small week).
Finally now though, I can safely say that it is over and that I feel very ok again.
All
this was a little unfortunate for my plans as I am now terribly late
with organizing/buying things for the journey I will be going on soon.
Seems like Monday will be a slightly busy day and hopefully the things I
ordered online will arrive that very day as I already leave tuesday
morning. *fingers crossed* It is only a few more things left now: the
new bagpack and a short for my HObbitCon party outfit (please arrive on
tuesday! Because as an Elfcosplayer of course it is not a question to
look like a swagger once the light grows dull and the party-lights start
twinkling *puts on sunglasses* - although I am not exactly a
party-person IRL but the feasts at the Con are always super fun ^.^)
Besides that, I think that these supplements I am taking for my knee actually work - at least the chronical inflammation has gone away entirely and I can see the proper shape of my knee again after six years of being slightly swollen all the time. Also I have noticed that when I walks up some stairs, my knee does not hurt at all now and it takes a lot more weird-sitting (which is my specialty) in order to have it stiffen. Money well spent I think!
I'll continue this supplement therapy for a while longer and see if I can have mroe results *excited*
For anybody who has knee-pain themselves, what I am taking is a combination of L-Proline and L-Lysine (pharmacy quality) and it is used to treat loss of cartilage, be it through age or accident. Please consult a doctor before you get overly-excited and start taking it, dosage is also an important factor!
I think that will ba all for now - packing is in the progress and so far
my siutcase has a good chance to end up looking like last year:
