Because we were a whole group of Elves, we decided to have a matching group theme. I don't know whose Idea it was exactly but highly suspect Jessica, but we ended up with the epic idea of being a gang of swagger/gangster-rapper Elves.
Wearing those horrible shutter shades had already been a thing for years and GIFs like this one are to be found about everywhere on Tumblr.

You could say: "It's a thing."
We went out hunting for matching outfits and the most tacky swagger jewellery we could find, numerous times (I don't mean to offend anyone of course but let this be said: it is not much of our style in real life so we had grand fun picking these disguises thehehe - especially the caps)
I also braided all of our wigs (and braided some moer at the con itself) and ooh I am still very pleased that the hairstyles lasted through all thress days and party nights!
My sister also finally got the right fabric for her dress and thus began the intense crafting!

My sister cutting the pattern for the gorgeous dress she sew in under a week!
Luckily I brought two biiiig packages of Schokobons for her - they were eaten very quickly when it became a little stressy with all the work
Only Nana had her peace and enough sleep
And off to the Con we went!

The Elves are ready to conquer!

We met this adorable little Elfling who came all the way from Turkey to attend the Con and meet us in real life. I still feel extremely flattered and it was such a plasure to have you around that weekend!
More braiding on grumpy dwarves... (this is by the way my amazing friend Essie - Thorin, aka the gorgeous bride from my last post!!)

So much braiding!

Some more detailed pictures of my creations~
All the Noldor (minus Glorfindel because Felix wore his Dwalin attire that day!)

As always, one of my highlights is to be around my sister in spirit again, who livey way too far away but I am already very much looking forward to our summer together!

...I guess you can't choose when you want to run into a dwarf... (<3)

...but you have to show some love!

We also had some lovely fotoshoots (and thanks to Meldawen, the little Elfing, we also have some behind the scenes pictures of that!)

I even found a Maedhros!
~*Partytime*~

AntwortenLöschenOh goodness thank you so much (and sorry for the late reply, I accidentlly posted this as a regular comment first by accident!)! I think I can speak on the behalf of all of us that we fell very flattered by how many people enjoy our humble costumes and us just being goofy all the way!~
