A Sunburn, A medieval market and a cat

Oh gosh so much time has passed already since my last entry but it has been a stressful time!
At first I started to study like a maniac for almost two months in a row and the second of July, the day of my salvation if you will, was the day where I've had the last two exams of this term - both in the morning. If you now assume that meant the end of my busy work then you were wrong: I was also assigned to do a nightshift of the security job I do about once a week for some extra money and oooh I was very tired when I came back home after that. The next morning I left for the martial arts camp (I missed two days because of the tests and was not pleased), where it was too hot to be true and I even got a sunburn so bad that it started to blister up. Now my skin is all white again but I gained about a myriad of new freckles all over!
The morning after I cam back from this camp, I left for another one with my scouting group.
We went to the Salzkammergut, which is about four hours on the train away and this region is way to beautiful to behold!

It was a grand time with lots of swimming, eating and also some surprising spiritual experiences that made my ancient pagan heart rejoice.

All this time I have been looking forward to the day after my return from this camp, the sunday, where a medieval fair would be held. One of my favourite fairs to be precise!
I didn't spend a lot this time, but had to purchase a handmade wooden spoon full of intricate details - you guys probably already know that I am a grand fan of handicraft and unique objects and that I always love to support fellow artists and crafters.

I very surprisingly met a group of friends there and we spent the day together (I also had great fun with the medieval musician who let me play some of his instruments and also took grand interest in my own flute)
Afterwards I decided to go to the forest, take some pictures and then just sit there and watch the sun set whilst meditating a little. All in all a perfect day!

But what about the cat you may ask? My shieldmaiden works at a veterinarian and she cam across this lovely 9 year old cat who is looking for a new home because of some stress issues of his and also because him and the husband of the family don't get along at all.
I went there to see him today and I am completely charmed by this lovely fella! He will now go through a final check at the veterinarian and maybe some last vaccinations (my last cat died of a virus if you can remember and a very aggressive one as well so we have to make sure this cat has proper proper protection to eliminate the remaining risk that is still there, even after washing the while house in chlorine twice and burning everything that belonged to my kitten. It is safe for me to take an old cat but still it never hurts to go for some extra safety and as you can imagine, I want all the best for this fluffy boy!)
We will see if hos stress issues improve when the negative factors are removed and if not my shieldmaiden and I will seek for a lovely stable or farm for him to reside but both of us are very positive, that everything wil be fine ^~^

Pictures will be attatched as soon as I am back home, I am now meeting up with my ada for some vegan icecream!😋
