My driving lesson in the morning went surprisingly well, although roundabouts and crossroads are still giving me a wee bit of trouble because there is so much to concentrate on at once. My instructor however said, that I was reakky good, especially considering that this was just my second lesson.
I always ask a lot of myself, I always have, but I am getting better about seeing my own good work in flawed outcomes as much as in grand acchievements.
This pressure to perform is still a relict from when I was a competitive athlete and still something, I have to work on but there is progress.
In the evening though, when some very unpleasant tasks had been done, I felt a flash of inspiration *poof* and I started to finally finish my picture of commander Cullen from Dragon Age Inquisition, that has been floating about my realm for months now. I am usually not the kind of person to make artworks in more than one go, but the portrait had started out as a distraction from the whole university stress I have had in June and then remained untouched.
My perfectionist's eye is still spotting things that could be improved next time, but I am still very pleased with the outcome! *giggles*
The remaining evening was spent with writing on a new fanfiction chapter and snuggling with my little furball who fell asleep in my arms nad thus the remaining chapter was written with one hand only!
