Something, that made me really happy...

There might be a good chance, that you already know, what I am talking about, especially if you follow me on twitter but I think there will never be a moment, when cute cats and beautiful souls will be shared too often! *nods*

I came across this absolutely lovely and touching Instagram account a few days ago and have been smiling ever since they uploaded a picture.
It is an account made for a cat from an animal shelter - with one big difference to your average cute kitty picture accounts: Monty was born with a chromosome defect, that left him looking absolutely unique - and I think he looks beautiful, precious and if I could, I would reach through the screen to fluff this adorable furball! *squeals*

 

I admit being someone, who is easily touched by animal-stories, no matter if they are sad or in his case with a happy ending, because just seeing how much he is loved after having been abandoned, is not only inspiring but also a reminder, that there are good people in this world - hardly anything, not even nature herself is more beautiful to me, than seeing how much a little furry companion is loved. Some pictures even made this elven warrior tear up a wee bit because my heart was melting...

I myself have always been a sworn defender of animals and apart form the one time where I had to defend Haldir's honor at school, the only times I ever got into bad physical fights was when people would be cruel with them and if I could, I would take in every single animal that is left at the shelter but obviously that is not possible for me (although I help where I can by volunteering, partnerships and choosing pets that are either from a shelter or that would have to go there, like my own cat who is very prone to pee into corners when he is stressed out) 

I just wanted to share this with you, every person who helps making the world a better place is my favourite person and this cat is one of the most adorable creatures I have ever seen.
