Quite the medieval week...!

So many exciting things took place this week! Where to begin....

Reviving my beyond old youtube channel was one of them. I felt a wee bit nostalgic - it feels like yesterday that I recorded piano videos in my teenage-years, my walls cluttered in LotR posters... Still pondering what to rename my URL to, youtube doesn't want me to just go with Elverynel but we shall see.

Then the medieval fair took place; I've had a great day with my father and even met a couple of readers who spotted my pointy ears (*greetins again*)!

Entering (and claiming) the castle

If the weather had been a tad more predictable, I would have stayed at the ruins even longer to maybe eat some of my homemade lunch and enjoy the peace and silence of this place, listening to the stories of what these stones have already seen. I ove being imaginative.

The week in general was fairly busy with university, work and meetups with friends to either game or celebrate and oh it was so nice.
I've also been quite productive at the gym and on top of that still very strict on the raw-vegan-things (however, I already have a list of things I am looking forward to be eating them once these two months are over and oddl enough, grilled mushrooms are on the list).
Yesterday I made the very spontaneous decision to go see the new X-Men movie and my Shieldmaiden joined in and we had a very fun evening :D

Today I decided on yet another adventure, as there was a larp-jumble sale about an hour away from my home and I decided to just go there and find more adventures along the way.

Dried...err...what are they called? Mulberries? Anyways, they make a grand topping for my breakfast icecream *nom nom*

It turned out to be a bit of an exploration trip through my own city and  aside from some fur and a medieval wool dress (that you will see once I am done with removing stains and fixing some seams) from the sale, I gained so many nice memories, as I was just walking where my feet would take me.
I spent about six hours roaming through the area, discovering pretty buildings and even a book-sale where I just had to loot some more.

Look at this book-heaven!

I ended up not getting that many and most of them are actually children's books for my baby brother (exclusively on knights and dragons) to make sure he gets a decent interest into everything medieval thehe~
I found this gorgeous primary school with images from fairytales adorning the walls!
The tired yet satisfyed Elf on her way home.

...and guess what I made for myself? Yes, banana icecream. Cannot have enough of this!
...and then this happened again...
(gosh I am basically married to the Templar-skill-tree)

Oh and I didn't even mention one of the most exciting things: I will soon have a camera again *squeals*. I am not sure if you know (you probalby do, because although I have really tried to not whine about my camera situation which is basically...my smartphone....I am sure my fingers slipped at some point and I did mention that I didn't have any camera at the moment), but it has been annoying me greatly to not be able to take pictures in good resolution, unless I talk somebody else into lending me their camera and I will not go into detail about why it took that long to restock, but I finally ordered one and it will be with me soon!
It will make things so so much easier, ah, the relief! Over the past two years I have made a list of things I will do once I have a camera other than my phone again and ooh you can look forward to quite a couple of them *mysterious handgestures*

And it was a really good deal as well. Even better.
Hopefully things will go this smooth, when I am ready to loot the more professional camera of my choice, but for now something small to carry along was priority number one, I simply love taking pictures (as you probably have noticed thehe)

There. A week squeezed into one blogpost.

Have a great sunday everyone and may the following week be epic´~
