"The Worst Witch" - I know I am terribly late for that...

I finally found some time to have a look at a series that my sister in spirit told me about and loved dearly. After I had seen the first episode, I could not stop continuing and now I am completely hooked!

Oh such an old series and I never heard of it before! I am probably the last one to find out about it but just in case that there are others who live in the forest with terrible and evil internet, who know nothing about this fantastic making, I shall leave my recommendation!

And I just realized that there are three entire seasons of it! *noises of excitement*

If you are as much of a fan or Harry Potter as I am and would be interested in a series full of magic, witchcraft and wizzardry, what are you waiting for?
There is so much Harry Potter-feel to this and oh, such lovely costumes and props!
But first, let me tell you more about The Worst Witch:

 

The story is about a wizzarding school for your witches and it came out before Harry Potter was popular. In fact, Harry Potter was inspired by it!

 The maincharacter is Mildres Hubble, a witch who has a talent for getting herself into trouble

Of yourse not all teachers are too happy about tha. In my opinion, she would make a fine wife for Professor Snape...if only they ever met (you may guess what subject she teaches - yes, you are right - potions.)

Instead of Hogwarts, the school is called Miss Cackle's Academy for Witches, and I love the choice of castle! Everything looks very authentic and look at this classy way of flying on a broom!

 

Doesn't all this give you the Hogwarts-feel? 

As for myself, I am in awe of this - if seems to teleport me right back into my childhood, when I first read Harry Potter and when I used to play in the garden with my very own wtich-broom and a cloak that my mother has made for me. What a cute series this is - and how well made!
