Finally I had my appointment and went there with good faith but the moment I sat down to wai until I would be asked in, I couldn't help but feeling a wee hint of nervousity. I have been to doctors in the past and have heard quite a lot of ingorance about my condition ("But you still have hair, so what exactly is your problem?").
I used the time to read a little bit of "Witchcraft today" to magically make the time pass faster *winks*
This time however I was very pleasantly surprised by my doctor who listened to what I had to say, asked some further questions and then started to have a good look on my scalp without the tiniest comment about how I was over reacting - he in fact took it very seriously and I gelt so relieved. Isn't this how it is supposed to be I wonder...?
We could already exclude some types of hairloss and their causes and he wrote papers for both a visit at a clinic to have my blood checked properly (minerals, hormons, as well as some diseases that could cause hairloss) and a note for a Dermatologist with a demand to have them look at my skin and hair so that they may not send me away because "I still have hair."
My appointment for the blood-test will be tomorrow in the earliest of morning hours (not an easy task for somebody night-active! *hisses*)
I am very glad now that my life is not Vampire the Masquerade, as even a single drop of blood gives the obtainer absolute control over the person it is from. The inner voice of Victoria/Ivy, my LARP Vampire greatly disapproves of me giving it willingly *giggles*
Luckily I am one of those people who can see blood and I've donated so often that it is almost as normal to me as baking (although I must admit that maybe I am a wee bit more thrilled by baking - so much can go wrong!^~^)
A glorious and creative day to you all!~
