This year I am terribly late with this but oh, I have been so busy! Yesterday I gathered some herbs from both the garden and the forest (Lavender, Rosepetals, a blend of flowers, Mint, Beebalm, Oregano, some more spices, Catnip and Sage) and prepared them for drying. At least the Lavender should have been harvested earlier but it was still JUST fine. A few days later and it would have been too late.
I will need most of these for the winter months - be it for healing purposes, delicious teas, incense or plain spice.
Some of the herbs are drying in baskets ...
...others are hung up all about the house!
Guinness got his very own plant to take care of, but I think he is looking forward to the Catnip the most ;)
If you are late with gathering herbs too, hurry up, you can still find enough~
