I did not manage to send out Christmas cards and neither did I do seasonal decorations and quite some of my presents were organized last minute (normalls I am set by the end of November). The only thing that I still did were my very tacky and leafy Christmas/Yule hair decorations *giggles*

And I will not stop just because it is the 24th already thehe!
Yesterday I brought my little Elfling to the airport (hoping to have her visit me again soon!!) and today at seven o'clock in the morning the madness began: Super Saiyan Christmas/House Elf mode (with proper clothes though).
From that time until now, the following thigs occured:
- one epic housecleaning, whilst listening to Audiomachine's Hell's Batallion on repeat, a song that was shown to me by Seyma ( thank you very much!), to make me go faster
- a spontaneous sprint to the supermarket and back because I realized that the decoration I wanted to use for the dinner table was gone
- more cleaning
- fighting a mountain of dishes that were waiting for me in the sink (thanks mum)
- The Writing of Christmas Cards
- The Wrapping of Presents
- The Cleaning Strikes Back
- Spilling yoghurt all over myself whilst trying to eat
- Decorating the Table (photos below)
- Dragging lots of heavy stuff over the stairs
- actually falling off the stairs once, but landing like a ninja and hurting nothing :O
- Having fairylights getting stuck in my hair quite teribly (way more painful than the stairs!)
- Finishing my duties early, so that I can now speed-write this blogpost until I have to leave again in half an hour! *flex*

Food is slowly being placed...

...as well as some mead!

*nom nom nom*
It is quite pleasing to say, that I ended up managing everything that I wanted to do (except for sending the cards grrr), I even decided to make a new wintery edit, because if snow doesn't want to come to you, you edit it in *giggles*

This photo from the autumn shoot with my sister...
...became this (click for full resolution)At this point I have to get myself ready for the festivities, I am, believe it or not, still in my pyjamas and my hair is the wild mess I woke up with (and that I will probably not be able to get rid of - it is Merida day again)
Wishing you all the merriest of holidays, Christmas, Yuletide, what ever it is you might be celebrating! May these days be filled with light, love and joy - and possibly with a wee bit of snow as well~
