Feast of Foods and my sadistic writing-behaviours

Yesterday's family dinner concluded the final Christmas/Yule celebration for this year!
Picture the days from the 24th of December until now as pure and utter days of stuffing your face with the most delicious and pretty food.

If any of you are asking where I got my love for decorating plates from, the answer is: it runs in the family. Both my mother and aunt create the most gorgeous cakes (something I yet have to learn) and my other aunt and uncle are beyond skilled when it comes to preparing gourmet food that takes grand patience (the kind of food that takes almost a whole day to bake/make/prepare) and my father is quite the perfectionists when it comes to setting things up nicely. All of them cook with love and unless I am not in a complete hurry or stavation-mode, I do likewise.

One of the cats decided to be a present

 and the other one decided to be a human like last year.

I did not take many pictures (that's about it), as I had to leave early due to work-duties, but i did manage to take some photos of my outfit and makeup (yes, makeup for a change!) of that day -- no particular hairstyle though, hair still does not want to cooperare but I don't mind.

and speaking of things I like, I absolutely adore the nifty crystal necklace, that my dearest Seyma got me for Yule! *^* (Thank you so so much again! <3)

My dad spontaneously picked me up from work (at night), just to hand me a steaming cup of spiced chai tea for my way back home (I drive about an hour on the train). Needless to say I was more than overwhelmed by this lovely gesture!

Today will be dedicated to the following: finally writing that last fanfiction chapter to conclude the storyline (urgh so done with these lovey-dovey happy happy chapters, I cannot wait to dive back into my currently paused second story where there is no romance at all, only death and despair. Quite proud of myself though about the lenght of this story, the fact that I did manage to put up with a romantic storyline for that long and about how I did manage to make it all come to an actually happy ending with the pathetic deathrate of just two Elves. *pats own shoulder* I hope my readers are not expecting a similar outcome for fic No.2.....It sounds so wrong, but I cannot wait to finally kill off some of the protagonists), keep composing two blogposts about some recent adventures (including the Star Wars Exhibition and my armour crafting project!), fluffing the cat and Skyrim, lots of Skyrim.
No actual reallife duties today, today is my day off ^~^

And now on to finally writing this final chapter, that I have been postponing for weeks and weeks now! Maybe I will reward myself by already continuing with my distopia?  There sure is some inspiring music on shuffle atm...
