Spring is so energizing!

Mondays mean: no lectures but no lectures does not equal nothing to do *giggles*

I love how on free days I get to choose between so many different things to do, being spontaneous is so much fun! I hardly ever make plans (except for university, sports and nerd-groups - priorities), but make them up as I go, see what I feel like doing and if I want to transform my day off into a hiking-adventure in the mountains or a home-day where I do multiple tasks that are still on my to-do list. People are often irritated when they want to meet up and I can give them almost free choice entirely, but oh; first come, first serve. And thus my agenda always fills up throughout the week ^.^

I think I've had quite the balanced day and although I am a child of winter, I cannot deny the power of the first spring. Not only are the soft rays beautiful to watch when they slowly strech above the treetops, it also just feels nice to have a wee bit of warmth back. My mood never suffers from the periods of darkness and cold, there is just too much beauty to be found and the same goes for the warmer months (I might take it back when the temperatures rise to 30+ celsius). The official end of winter is drawing near and eventhough I am once again hoping that next year there will be more snow, I am ready for the new season. Actually, I cannot wait to stop wearing winter coats already!

The Elf, ready for adventure (as you can see, my skin looks very fine again - almost back to normal thehe)
I love my coat, but it is going to be so nice to not be that packed when it gets warmer ^.^

I got out of the house pretty early for an invasion of IKEA and the mall (the goal was to arrive early and leave before lunchtime when hell starts raining down in the form of people who suddenly appear from out of nowhere), because I had been in the need for some nifty organization things as well as skincare products (my time of not using anything is almost over and I yet haven't figured out what antiallergenic brew to get exactly but I kinda should....) and even less exciting things like socks.

Yes, even elven warriors have to go sock-shopping sometimes.
While I was already there, I also went into the nerdstore, but I returned without loot. And I forgot to take photos on the entirety of the trip...but I guess we all know what IKEA looks like *winks*

But this is the organization-thing I have been talking about, in case anybody has been wondering - it is green; whee! (apparently they also have morre wardrobe-friendly stuff in this colour, I think I will have to go back at some point)

I really did manage to be done before code-red and even had time to quickly snatch a baked cinnamonroll with loads of chocolate and vanillasauce as travelling fare. It was delicious and it was definitely a good idea that I ate it on the go, for it left me without the option to go back and get another - I coud have easily eaten their entire display.

On my trainride home I forced myself through a couple of chapters in quite the boring piece of literature that I have to read for university.
The studying proceeded (this time a little more enthusiastically) once I had returned back to my realms and by now I am done with today's pensum and very ready for tomorrow.

I also had time for some art again (and I was really in the mood) but because my printer was revolting when it came to printing it so that I could watercolour it, I ended up making more details as I always do. But seriously though, I have been trying to print this for quite some time now and it failed twice already - and always for different reasons. Weird. I'll just print it at Uni tomorrow. HA. Take that, printingmachine!

Chaiiiinmail....! I think my art-folders are about 60% Elves and 40% armour - or Elves in armour. Well...everyone has their standards...

I still really want to go for a hike though, I am already checking my agenda to see if I can suqeeze it in or if I really need to wait for the weekend...
Oh, and just because I would breaktradition if I would not mention this on any public social media: it is pi-day. If you are wondering "what the hell", think about it again. Look at the date.
As a former student of technical physics I CANNOT go without spreading awareness *winks again*

But enough writing for today, I am already looking forward to my evening-programme, that will begin in 3...2...1...now.

Have a grand week!~

  1. I would honestly love to see more of your Tolkien inspired artwork. I think this is probably the only one I ever did (next to hundreds of Battle for Middle-earth battle tactics and unit movements hahaha)
