The thirst for adventures

I cannot belive my holidays are almost over ... my first test of the term is approaching faster and faster; and I somehow need to retrieve my mind from the fantasy realms where it is happily wandering now.
I have been indulging in many nice things this week, the Magic Prerelease (where I didn't end up sleeping much) and the first gathering of the new pen and paper campaign (which was yesterday) being just two of them.
There is something really wonderful and yet weird about displaying a new character for the first time, especially because I had come unusually unprepared with everything. I even came up with a name the day of the actual first gathering... oops.
Now that I have been the character, I have gained a feeling for how and who she is and I think I will start writing a little something (or maybe a ton) as well as draw a character portrait - I definitely feel inspired, yet right now too unfocused.

At the moment it feels that almost everyone of my closest friends is having a bit of a hard time  and sometimes I wish I could just split myself. Empathy is a blessing and a curse.
I am also starting to realize, that this year has not been particularily convention-heavy so far; I had to cancel MCM London and later on also HobbitCon for personal reasons and right now I am in the need for some adventures... maybe the beginning of the medieval market season will provide them.
Or maybe I will find them myself. I can already see it comming that I randomly board a train and see where it will take me to go hiking somwhere into the blue...

For now I think I will edit some photos from a shooting from a while ago and whe shall see what else this might inspire me to do, thehe

Other than that, I have found yet another favourite version of this song, I am completely obsessed.
