It has been quite some time since I last sat down to write a wee bit, hasn't it? I have very valid excuses though: epic battles taking place, little sleep, countless of impressive bruises and sore muscles all the way - of course I am talking about larp, what else...
At this point I am not sure, if my hurting muscles are still a residue from two weekends ago, or a layered result from my actual workout but to be fair I did notice a grand difference when I first did my regular cardio after two days of running, fighting and sprinting in heavy armour.
Larp is such a good workout, seriously.

Other than my body being a bit broken (if that wouldn't be the case, I would know that I had done something wrong), I also carry the many good and above all epic memories of the weekend; so much character developement, so many wonderful fights (I had the bestest of time with some of the NPCs!) and so many things to look forward to! It's been absolutely grand to meet new people, but especially to just have fun with friends and admire the epic of fellow players :)
And speaking of funny; the Drow RP group that I am also a part of with a different character happened to be there as well and one of them only recognized me because of my pauldrons (as they are being worn for my Drow guard as well *laughs*) I thought that was quite funny, after all I do look rather different as a Darkelf!
Right now I am playing the "will-my-white-Paladin-pants-ever-be-white-again"-game. Again. As to be expected. They have been soaking in a bleaching solution for days already and tomorrow I will probably have my attempt to wash them and hopefully get them back to sparkly instead of setting the stains.
The current battle I have to face is my last test this term, which will take place in less than two weeks and I am studying like a mad Elf.Right afterwards I will tacke my driving exam as well.
I have very recently discovered the ambientmixer for myself and oh I might have become a wee bit addicted you could say! It is such a lovely addition to an evening of reading or crafting and also goes very nicely with epic music played at the same time. There are also very nifty Hogwarts inspired sounds that could be great for studying - if you are not someone like me who needs either very specific music or absolute silence.
For some reason I never like to listen to my music through a loudspeaker in this case, it just doesn't work for me and actually somehow ends up being distracting. It makes no sense but well, I am not obligated to always make sense... In case some of you are wondering, here are some of the tracks that I listen to in a probably unhealthy volume and that really get me focused:
- A. Vivaldi; RV390 Concerto for Violin, Strings and B.C. in B minor
- A. Vivaldi; RV531 Concerto for two Chellos in G minor
- W.A. Mozart; K.516 String Quintet No. 4 in G minor
- J.S. Bach; BWV1055 Concerto in A major I. Allegro
Wishing all of you a grand week!~
PS: a new video miiiight be in the making, but it all depends on my University progress, if I will already be able to upload it before the weekend thehe
