Golden leaves, Butterbeer and fuzzy socks~

Someone has caught a nasty cold that had been lingering for over a week and still is not gone entirely. I'l have to postpone my walks in the rainy forest until I am completely well again *sigh*

Slowly autumn is arriving, I can smell the soft scent of greenery, that is turning more golden by the day. I love all seasons but as some might have noticed, my favourite are the colder ones - winter and snow are just wonderful and the colorful autumn makes the woods look like a painting (and jumping into massive piles of leaves is something I think everyone should do atimes).

I am so cliché with autumn (except for the fact that I greatly dislike Pumpkin Spice Latte - but that is because I don't like coffee to begin with - I'd rather make some more of that delicious Butterbeer my sister and I created two years ago thehe).

Leaves everywhere!

With autumn, I usually get very much into the mood to re-read the Harry Potter books and this has almost become a tradition by now. It doesn't really help that I don't actually own all of them (only the first book) but this is what you have libraries for.
Sitting in the veranda with a steaming cup of caramelized-pear tea, a purring (and meowing) cat on my lap, fuzzy socks keeping my feet warm, following the adventures of Harry, Ron and Hermione as the rain is pouring down outside - heaven.

But speaking of Harry Potter, have you guys done your Patronus test on Pottermore yet? Mine's a Thestral - let me know which one you got!~

Yesterday my dad brought two more fairylights for my room and I am already pondering where to add more more sparkle in my room. In fact, there is a lot of organization and decorating work in my room that I have to tackle sometime soon - there has been some changes and even a wall will be painted *does mystifying gestures* But pictures will appear once everything has been finished to my liking and for now I will try to rest as much as I can (and as much as Uni lets me), for I want to be frolicking amongst the leaves again soon!

    1. Thehe I don't really think there is a "best" seasons, every season has it's own charm, but I myself really enjoy the coziness of the colder months (and oh, the beautiful colours!)
There are particular things that I exclusively do/eat during these months (and no one knows why including myself) and for me this is part of why I love specific seasons a tad more.

And oh, don't get me started on candles and fairylights... *throws sparkles*

  2. I much prefer the warmer seasons myself - I am a child of Spring, after all! And layering on clothes, as cute and cozy as it is, always makes me feel sluggish, to a certain extent.
I have not read the Harry Potter series in a long, long time, but I have promised myself that I will only do so once I have the complete set. So far, I only have the last three books from a now discontinued edition, so I must search anew.

Oh, and my patronus is a Unicorn!
