Much like the eyes of a Basilisk.
What I do find a bit irritating though is, that very often when women on social media talk about - not even period-details themselves - but only mentioning period-related sanitairy products or recommending them - many feel like they have to apologize to their male viewers I suppose.
Why is that?
As a women - to be quite honest - I find this quite offensive.
Why do I need to apologize for using something, that I have to use because of my natural body functions that I never asked for in the first place?
I won't let the excuse that period-related information is insignificant for men count - there are so many things that don't apply to certain groups of people. Imagine how ridiculous it would be: "if you are sensitive to the topc of ...well..you know.. *whispers* non-animal-product-things, you might want to skip the next minute", "so if you ain't into fairytales - sorry - I will mention some throughout the video, just that you know...", "If you are somehow triggered by cats, please skip this entire video."
There is a lot of stuff on the internet that I don't want to hear about, but I don't need a warning or a suggestion to skip, as I can do fine myself.
Just because it makes someone feel unconfortable, doesn't mean it needs it's own warning - let aside the fact that I don't quite understand how exactly it does make some men feel uncomfortable - they don't have the monthly cramps, mood-swings and other troubles that come with it haha.
This is weird and unecessary and we should move on.
It's natural, deal with it.
And here is a wee video because I though it was quite epic.~
