Yes, I have to make this remark every single winter, now more than ever. For reasons.
Anyways, I am beyond thrilled about having snow already! For some reason, I have been really busy and distracted with many things and when I woke up a couple of days ago, seeing the sheer blanket of white for the first time this year, all I could say was a muffled "wtf" because I had been so surprised. And my moment of elegance had been whitnessed. Of course.
Since then, I have woken to frozen leaves every single morning and oooh I can never get over how uterly beautiful they are!
It is always such a short time where they can be marveled at and it is something I look forward to the whole year. This and ice flowers on the windows (our house still has those old badly isolated windows that allow for the beautiful patterns to form).

I have also done some, what I call, "Winter essentials shopping" - hold on, let me show you what I mean:

My favourite winter-tea (left), some other (weird tasting) tea on the right, two types of Yule related spices (one of them opened already, for gingergread spice is my go to for banana icecream and oatmeal and everything, and my most favourite winter-incense.
What is not on the picture because someone (me) forgot adding it, are a few packages of beeswax candles, some vanilla scented candles, some of those nifty sparklers and more fuzzy socks because one can never have enough.

On monday, I also had the pleasure to have a photoshoot with Windalf.de and model their gorgeous medieval, elven and viking jewellery. It's been a really fun day, open fires, vikingdresses, loads of hair beads, nifty bling and nature are some of my favourite things and when all of them come together...instant happiness ^~^
We had our shoot in Styria and oh goodness, nature is just a beyond overwhelming thing - there is so much beauty to be discovered and I fall in love with it and my country over and over again...Let me share some wee shots from the car-ride and the actual location *fanelfing*

*fanelfing intensifies*

Sending you all loads of glitter and sparkle*~
