New Year's Resolutions?

Is it disappointing, when I say that I don't really do New Year's resolutions? Probably...

...and therefore, this is just notes thehe - got you!! *stealth increased to 10*

Most of the time, I do not get too overly excited about the last night of the old year - the only thing that truly changes, is the number of year I have to write on my essays (and you can be assured that I will be making mistakes for the first weeks to come thehe!). Most of the times, I spend my night at home, either in my pyjamas or a random dress-up (there is nothing inbetween)  and keep company with my aunt and grandmother who live just next door. More of a cozy evening, you see?

But all of this aside, being an easily exciteable person there is certain customs that I really enjoy doing every single year. So afterall I cannot escape the new year's excitement entirely...

However, back to my halfway not existing resolutions.
The reason why I don't do them is easy: I am soneone, who tries to see every day as the first day of the new year, if you will. Every day holds new opportunities, new challenges and new esciting things to see - I am constantly looking out for chances to improve, grow and get rid of what I feel like is just weighing me down. Maybe for some people, the new year marks the end of an era of bad habits and a fresh start, but I don't feel like I need this extra bit of motivation (anymore). And this is, why I do not have resolutions for the upcomming 2016, but loads of life-resolutions instead! ^~^

I am also quite excited to say, that, with today, the final chapter of the infamous fic I had been working on, went online. Look:

Yes, it is German - sorry. But I am selecting "finished" as the story-status! Historical moment!

Final count on the stats is: 96 chapters, 210118 Words and almost two years of writing. The original story contains about 12 more chapters that I took out because I felt it would have been a bit too much. But considering that one of the two defining genres is romance, I am quite proud that I made it to the end (even if I feel like I cheated since the actual romance plotline starts to enfold around chapter....60?) - ah, how nostalgic I suddenly feel! Feels like it was yesterday when I started writing, I cannot believe it is over *sheds a tear*

But from now on, on to more sinister writings *rubs hands*

Other than that, here is a beautiful photo of what I look like this very moment - I feel beyond attractive with this nifty facemask *laughs* Even elven warriors smear clay into their faces every now and then - it is an ancient rite ... err... you know....

*vanishes with handgestures of conjuring*
